Vision 2015, a regional catalyst for cooperation in Northern Kentucky, established The Northern Kentucky Fund of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation in 1998 with more than $1,000,000 in challenge grants from ten major donors, including a $100,000 grant from GCF.
An advisory board made up of Northern Kentucky volunteers oversees the development and promotion of the fund, with support from GCF staff.
The Northern Kentucky Family of Funds consists of The Northern Kentucky Fund and 63 other named funds established to support nonprofit organizations serving Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties.
