United for a Stronger Community
One truth we all know about Greater Cincinnati: It is a strong community that thrives on connection.
Our region is a close-knit community—where neighbors are not strangers. We support one another, share in each other’s joys, stand together in faith, and embrace an unwavering optimism for our future. This strong bond is at the heart of who we are, making our community truly exceptional.
In recent weeks, we experienced hateful attempts to divide us. This caused many of our neighbors to feel unsafe and brought challenges and uncertainties to the people and institutions that work tirelessly to make our region more vibrant and inclusive.
Nonetheless, we came together to stand up, speak out, and comfort one another. Through every challenge, we’ve witnessed our community emerge stronger and persevere with integrity, love, and hope. This is who we are. We are not a place without challenges or a complicated history, but one where we come together in support and hope for what lies ahead.
As a part of this community, Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) is committed to doing everything we can to build a vibrant region where every person has a fair opportunity to reach their full potential. In response to the challenges our region faces, GCF is proud to support ten nonprofit partners that have been steadfast in their efforts to uplift and unite all members of our community:

- Ignite Peace
- Equasion
- Undivided
- The Holloman Center for Social Justice
- The Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust and Humanity Center
- GLSEN, Greater Cincinnati
- Urban Appalachian Community Coalition
We are providing $25,000 in funding to each organization to amplify their work and spread hope across the region. Beyond funding, we will work with these organizations to develop a concentrated effort to ensure Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky remains a place where everyone can feel welcomed and valued.
We are confident that Greater Cincinnati will emerge from this moment stronger than ever. We’ve seen it time and time again—when we stand together, we rise above any challenge, and we build a brighter future for everyone. We stand tall, not just for ourselves, but for every neighbor and every organization that continues to fight for a better tomorrow.
