Greater Cincinnati Foundation Names Melissa Krabbe as Chief Financial Officer

CINCINNATI (Dec. 5, 2023) — Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) has named Melissa Krabbe as chief financial officer, effective Dec. 4.

Krabbe most recently served as interim chief financial officer at GCF. Krabbe will continue to be responsible for business planning, financial operations, and investment management, as well as serving as treasurer for two supporting organizations, HealthPath Foundation of Ohio and Public Health Fund of Ohio. A GCF veteran since 2010, Krabbe also held the position of controller for nine years, in addition to multiple accounting leadership roles.

“Melissa’s unmatched understanding of the GCF business model and trends in community philanthropy, combined with her growth mindset and deep regional knowledge, make her a strong addition to our executive team,” said Matthew Randazzo, president and CEO. “We’re continuing to build a high-performing learning and results-oriented organization to accelerate our work across the region.”

Krabbe serves on the finance committee for Crayons to Computers, the accounting practices committee for the Fiscal, Administration & Operations Group (FAOG) and the finance committee for Philanthropy Ohio.
